Bead-Resist Dish

Bead-Resist Dish

This triangular serving dish was fired to cone 12 in a 30-hour, wood-salt firing in July 2020. The pattern in the interior is created by firing ceramic beads inside the dish, acting as a resist to the kiln atmosphere.

The exterior surface is created through the salt and ash deposits and the touch of the flame. Made of high-fired stoneware, this piece is durable and lasting.

Dimensions: 2.5x9"

  • Microwave and dishwasher safe (although for longevitiy we suggest hand-washing.)
