This hanging bowl was fired in a 100-hour, anagama woodfire in October 2020. It is suspended using a simple macrame basket-form.
 
The variegated surface is created through generous ash deposits and the touch of the flame.  Made of high-fired porcelain, this piece is durable and lasting.
